Sergey Shalatskiy studied photography in 1970s in Ukraine, and the very first competition he participated in brought him the 3rd place in 1976 National contest.
Currently, he is a freelance photographer based in Baltimore, Maryland USA.
He is dedicated mostly to nature, landscape and fine arts photography.
His background includes scientific research and software development, and he is well versed with digital imaging, image processing algorithms and professional level processing with Photoshop.
